Norma, a quantum security and computing company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with U.S.-based Maybell Quantum to introduce an integrated quantum computing system in the Korean market. The collaboration focuses on combining Maybell Quantum’s cryogenic cooling systems with Norma’s quantum factory infrastructure to accelerate the commercialization of quantum computers in Korea.

The partnership will integrate Maybell Quantum’s advanced quantum processor unit (QPU), control electronics, and cryogenic cooling system with Norma’s quantum factory system. Both companies plan to engage in joint marketing, technical demonstrations, and customer expansion. Maybell Quantum will provide technical support to ensure seamless compatibility, while Norma will lead efforts to adapt the system for local applications.

Norma CEO Hyun Chul Jung emphasized the ease of use and innovative nature of Maybell’s cooling technology, likening it to a standard refrigerator. Maybell Quantum COO Bryan Choo highlighted the system’s portability and low maintenance, which make it ideal for advancing quantum research and commercial applications.
