Pasqal, a developer of neutral atom quantum computers, has announced a collaboration with the Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS) to enhance education and research in quantum computing. The partnership focuses on developing educational materials to train students for quantum computing careers, while fostering innovative research using Pasqal’s quantum technologies.

Through this collaboration, Pasqal will offer internship opportunities to UdeS students, giving them hands-on experience in quantum computing. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial applications, helping to cultivate the next generation of quantum professionals.

Pasqal has also committed over $1 million to support the creation of a research chair in quantum computing at UdeS. This initiative will drive the development of quantum software solutions using neutral atom technology, bringing together academic researchers and industry experts.
