Quantum Corridor Inc., a quantum-ready fiber-optic communications network connecting Chicago and Northwest Indiana, announced the close of a $10 million Series A funding round. Supported by eight family offices and tech investors, the raise brings the company’s total funding to $27 million since its founding in 2021.

The funds will support the expansion of Quantum Corridor’s 14-mile network, currently linking Hammond, Indiana, and Chicago’s ORD10 Data Center, into a 263-mile quantum superhighway. The expanded network will connect key locations across Indiana, including the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center, West Lafayette, and Indianapolis, leveraging both new and existing fiber-optic infrastructure. Along the route, Quantum Commercialization Centers will house entanglement nodes, mini data centers, and facilities for research and education.

As a public-private partnership with the state of Indiana, Quantum Corridor aims to accelerate breakthroughs in quantum communications, data sharing, and post-quantum cryptography. It is quantum key distribution-ready and partners with industry leaders like Ciena, C1, and Toshiba. The company is also a member of the Chicago Quantum Exchange and plays a key role in the Midwest’s emerging quantum ecosystem.
