QuiX Quantum, a leader in photonic quantum computing, has launched its Bia™ Quantum Cloud Computing Service, marking its entry into the Quantum as a Service (QaaS) sector. This platform provides businesses and research institutions immediate access to quantum computing capabilities and aims to establish a hybrid quantum-classical computing environment.
The Bia system is a room temperature photonic quantum processor that uses start of the art components such as single photon generator modules, light detection modules, and advanced quantum control software. It starts at 12 channels and can go up to 20 channels. Bia™ is designed to address specific challenges in fundamental research and quantum simulations, such as Boson Sampling and Quantum Monte Carlo simulations. By integrating classical computing resources with its quantum hardware, the service can tackle optimization problems across various industries using variational quantum eigen solver (VQE) algorithms. The launch also involves a partnership with QMware, enhancing the service’s capabilities in hybrid quantum computing.
The launch aligns with QuiX Quantum’s vision of reshaping industries through accessible quantum technology. The system incorporates advanced components, including a quantum processing unit and light detection modules, all powered by QuiX Quantum’s award-winning Alquor® Quantum Photonic Processor.
