The collaboration engages key Malaysian government agencies, including the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), Malaysian Quantum Initiative (MyQI), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), and the Ministry of Defence (MOD). These agencies will work with the new center to integrate quantum technology into areas such as cybersecurity, healthcare, and finance, positioning Malaysia as an emerging quantum tech leader in the region.
SDT Inc., which has a strong track record in quantum solutions within South Korea, will provide the technological expertise to support Malaysia’s infrastructure. MIMOS, through its subsidiary MTSSB, will leverage this partnership to drive Malaysia’s progress toward becoming a quantum-enabled nation.
