Strangeworks is expanding its global presence with a strategic move into the Indian market, extending its reach to Sri Lanka. This expansion aims to provide quantum and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enterprises and research institutions across these regions, adding to Strangeworks’ existing presence in the US, Europe, and Japan.

The expansion acknowledges India’s developing role in quantum and AI innovation, supported by government initiatives such as the National Quantum Mission (NQM). Strangeworks’ platform is designed to simplify access to a range of advanced compute hardware and software technologies, enabling researchers and subject matter experts to formulate, model, analyze, and deploy enterprise solutions for optimization, machine learning, and simulation problems. Strangeworks has appointed Pathy Iyer as Director of India Sales and Marketing, based in Bengaluru, to lead this regional growth and build strategic partnerships.

This regional initiative leverages Strangeworks’ existing collaboration with BQP, a Quantum-Accelerated Digital Twin software company of Indian origin. Since 2022, the two companies have collaborated to advance quantum algorithms and applications within India’s quantum ecosystem, demonstrating high-performance engineering simulations using quantum-inspired algorithms. This regional focus seeks to address complex challenges and drive innovation, contributing to the development of next-generation solutions in sectors including energy, finance, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and manufacturing.
