We had reported in February that the UK government had made awards to seven companies totaling £30 million ($38.9M USD) for installation of quantum processors at the UK National Quantum Computing Centre by March 2025. Now, Infleqtion has announced that it is the first one to deploy their installation using the company’s neutral atom quantum technology. NQCC will also be using Infleqtion’s Superstaq software and Infleqtion will also be participating in the upcoming UK Quantum Hackathon on July 22-24, 2024.
