UK Government Announces £94 Million ($117M USD) Funding for Quantum Technology Research Hubs

As part of the UK’s UK National Quantum Technologies Programme, the United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI) organization announced second phase funding grants to four of the UK’s Quantum Technologies Research Hubs. The £94 million amount is for a five year period starting in December 2019 and is a follow-on to the initial funding of £120 million (about $150M USD) that started in December 2014.
