Multiverse Computing, in collaboration with Moody’s Analytics, has launched QFStudio, a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. This initiative, announced in San Sebastián, Spain, combines Multiverse’s expertise in quantum algorithms with Moody’s extensive experience in risk management. The platform is tailored to offer quantum computing solutions for applications in machine learning, optimization, and financial simulations.

The QFStudioTM platform is notable for its:

Benchmarking Tools: Allowing comparisons between classical and quantum solutions for finance-related applications.
Integration Ease: With web and API accessibility, it integrates smoothly with existing systems.
Quantum Efficiency: Facilitating the use of more effective quantum algorithms where they outperform classical ones.

The collaboration leverages Moody’s network and experience in finance along with Multiverse’s quantum computing resources, including its Singularity software and industry connections. Additionally, QCentroid has contributed to QFStudio by providing a no-code, API-based quantum operations platform focused on enterprise integration, benchmarking and access to streamlined, practical applications of quantum algorithms.

Moody’s has been focusing on quantum computing since early 2022 through its internal team, aiming to develop significant use cases and prepare clients for quantum technology advancements. Moody’s expertise spans various risk types, including financial, climate, and cyber risks.

Multiverse’s Singularity software forms the core of the QFStudioTM platform, designed to be accessible for users with limited quantum computing background, featuring user-friendly interfaces such as an Excel plug-in and a Python interface.

This launch marks another significant partnership for Moody’s Analytics in the quantum computing field, following their collaboration with Multiverse Computing and Oxford Quantum Circuits (OQC) to develop large-scale flood prediction models, addressing the challenging issue of flood risk assessment using advanced quantum computing techniques.
