NEC Australia and D-Wave Quantum Inc. are launching two quantum services in Australia: the Quantum Consultancy Service and access to the Leap™ Quantum Cloud Service. These services aim to solve complex problems faster than traditional computers, benefiting the commercial sector, governments, and academia. The Quantum Consultancy Service develops and tests quantum solutions, while the Leap™ Quantum Cloud Service provides access to D-Wave’s real-time quantum cloud service. These services can improve efficiency in various areas, such as emergency response and cargo transfers. NEC Australia and D-Wave have been delivering successful local quantum applications since 2021.
