The Quantum Application Lab (QAL) is a consortium of six Dutch organizations in The Netherlands that works on quantum application development and use case evaluation. They have received a “Subsidie Economische Structuur en Arbeidsmarktversterking” (SESA) grant from the municipality of Amsterdam to grow its organization and further their work in quantum application development. This follows another grant of €600 thousand received in October from Quantum Delta NL for co-financing five new projects in the next years. QAL will be adding additional Quantum Innovation Officers and help to grow a skilled workforce in quantum technologies.
